If you aren’t familar with “Blo” – then you must not have been here during the 80′s – the salon chain, with 20 locations, is the answer to getting a “catwalk quality blowout” quick and easy. The salons cater to individuals who are looking to be fabulous, but have little time on their hands. The Blo Bar is perfect for that!

I have been blown away by this establishment. Yesterday I got a few hours break from work to go get pampered. Started in North Miami got my nails and feetsies done, had lunch with hubby then yesterday morning I had seen the incredible offer from Gilt City for $17, half off blow dry, so I purchased one. Guilt City sent me a confirmation asap.
Since I had lunch in Midtown and still had an hour or so to kill I decided to call and see if they could take me in ten minutes. ha ha yep just like me when I want something. The lady who answered was very polite and said sure come on in. Awesome, I was greeted by her as soon as I walked in. I asked her if I could use my order number with confirmation from Gilt City via my email off my phone. She stated they were suppose to send a voucher but we would deal with it after my blow.
Alex did my hair, hope I remember her name correctly. She was a young punk rock chick who was the coolest. She first sat me in her chair and went over the different styles they offer. Way cool, I got just a bit bouncy, soft wave style. She gave me an incredible shampoo, massaged my head, neck, oh hey now I would go just for her awesome massage, very relaxing. I seriously did not want her to stop.
She offered me some Champagne, which came out in the most adorable pink flute. The decor is bright white, very clean with hot pink stations and accessories. Loved all the pink, so girly. I was in and out in about 45 minutes, my hair although I desperately need my whites covered, the style looked very cute.
When I got finished Guilt City still had not sent over my voucher but she still accepted my email and just asked if as soon as I received it if I could call her with the voucher number. Shocked, seriously she trusted that I would call. I did leave a great tip and of course the price I paid was awesome, thanks Gilt City. It made me try them, and I will return. I did not purchase any hair products but on my next visit I will be buying several items including the Moroccan oil, great products, and they do NOT try to sell you on them. LOVED that they were not pushy at all.
This morning the email finally came through and I called to give them the voucher number. The lady who answered was very polite again and thanked me for calling back with it.
Want excellent service, want to be treated like royalty for a reasonable price, go go now.
Also, not that there were any children in here when I came but please parent’s leave kids at home, not the place and trust me you will enjoy so much more.
Excellent place that I will frequent on a pampering kind of day again.
